9th Annual NoCo Hemp Expo @ The Broadmoor Resort, Colorado Springs, CO

NoCo Hemp Expo Will Feature:

  • EXHIBITS | Exhibits at NoCo9 will highlight the latest innovations in hemp, including the many product uses for CBD and other cannabinoids, hemp fiber in fashion and industry, building materials, paper and bio-composite plastics, food, oil, animal feed, and more.
  • EDUCATION | NoCo9’s educational program will highlight investment and finance, science, technology, innovation, industry and consumer trends, regulatory news, BIPOC and diversity in hemp, advances and best practices in sustainable agriculture, and more.
  • AWARDS & NETWORKING | NoCo9 will feature networking events, as well as the much anticipated 2nd Annual WAFBA Awards of Excellence Dinner, recognizing top leaders, innovators, educators, policymakers and advocates in the hemp community.

Florissant Fossil Beds: Night Sky Programs @ Florissant Fossil Beds National Monument

Each Night Sky Program begins at the Visitor Center where you will pay your fee or show your pass. If you do not already have an American the Beautiful Interagency pass or do not qualify for one of them, you will need to pay the daily entrance fee or purchase an annual pass. You can also do this ahead of time on recreation.gov

You will recieve park information and then be guided to the outdoor viewing area. Telescopes and laser pointer tours will be provided by the Colorado Springs Astronomical Society.

*** On nights when the park is offering a night sky program, the park will remain open until the end of the night sky program.
Please dress warmly. Evenings in the mountains can be cool, even in summer.
No reservations are necessary. Please note that stargazing is weather dependent. The presentation will be given no matter the weather conditions; however, it is always best to call ahead in case of severe thunderstorms or snowy conditions. The Monument can be reached at (719) 748-3253.

Collage of Gardens – Tickets are available! @ Divine Redeemer & Middle Shooks Run Neighborhoods

Tickets are available for the Collage of Gardens event.

Your ticket provides the addresses for the garden locations where printed tour guides can be obtained on the days of the event. The guide will provide information about all gardens, including a map.

Collage of Gardens @ Divine Redeemer & Middle Shooks Run Neighborhoods

It’s a new year and a fresh start for the ColoradoSpringsGardenTour.org.

The primary fundraising activity for FOX is its annual garden tour. Since the tour’s inception in 2011, this popular event has been in various Colorado Springs locations, including Village Seven, the West Side, the Old North End, Patty Jewett, the Broadmoor, and north central Colorado Springs. The 2023 tour is near downtown in the Divine Redeemer and Middle Shooks Run neighborhoods. Visitors may walk or ride the 2-mile circuit from garden to garden in this
“Collage of Gardens.”

Tour attendees observe gardening practices including water conservation, xeriscaping, and raising vegetables.  Expert gardeners are at each garden to answer questions about plants and gardening practices. Plein Air Garden Artists  augment the experience.
